About this deal

The premise of the bake is essentially the exact same, but just better. I went for a Malt Chocolate sponge, and a Malt Buttercream Frosting because it just tastes sooo good along with the Malteser, and I can’t get enough. Make sure all your ingredients (particularly the butter and eggs) are at room temperature before you start baking. Yes. If you want to freeze the cakes, let them cool completely, then wrap tightly in plastic wrap and freeze them. Decorate with frosting and Maltesers when they are thawed and you are ready to eat or serve the cake. Fibre one cake bar 4.5 syns per bar, making them average in syns, you could have up to around three of these cake bars before using all of your 15 syn daily allowance on the plan.

You can spread the buttercream onto the cakes with a spoon or palette knife if you don’t want to pipe it. Rich, flavourful, and addictive no-bake treat! 15. Malteser Chocolate Cake Grab the recipe here! via sainsburysmagazine.co.ukThis is a surprisingly easy cake to make. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and then slowly add hot water. Mix by hand until smooth. Just like my mint Aero traybake, it doesn’t last five minutes in my house. It’s just as well it takes less than 10 minutes to make! Yeah, that’s right, the Malteser version. I am utterly head over heels in love with this beauty, and I can’t stop the love. It’s based on my Malteser cake, and then also the chocolate cake traybake. The morphing of the two, into heaven in a bite. Malt everything! I wouldn’t blame anyone if it all accidentally fell into their mouth and none made it to the cake because you know, I might’ve had to have bought another jar as this happened to me… anyway. You can definitely leave it out if you don’t want the added extra element to the bake.

Not to mention a complete covering of chocolate malt balls. Not only do they add taste and crunch but they look absolutely fantastic! And it means you can decorate a four layer cake in just minutes #winwin Over the years I’ve used the Nigella Malteser Cake recipe and also the Mary Berry Malteser Cake recipe. This one recipe of mine, is a bit of a hybrid of the two, with my own adjustments; making it larger (obvs) and simplifying slightly. This recipe will look gorgeous on the Christmas table – the main star of your Christmas feast! And it tastes as beautiful as it looks! 12. Malteser and Mars Bar Slice Grab the recipe here! via bestrecipes.com.au Six: Dollop spoons of the dark and white chocolate over the tiffin and use a skewer to create a marble effect. One thing I will say AGAIN with this fudgey type cake recipe is that the coffee is IMPORTANT. Don’t worry, you can NOT taste the coffee in the cake, but it just enhances the richness of the chocolate in the sponge and takes it to the next level. This one’s sooo rich it can buy a house in Beverly Hills! Joking aside, this one’s soo gooey and decadent. 20. Malteser No Churn Ice Cream Grab the recipe here! via pomegranatedays.co.za Chocolate - a mixture of dark chocolate and milk chocolate for the base, and white chocolate and dark chocolate for the topping.
